29) Do you believe in ghosts? How about aliens?

I’m really not sure about ghosts, the only thing I can say is that I know people who have had certain experiences despite being non-religious and not only are they unlikely to lie, but they also speak of things that are too poignant and unexpected to be a coincidence. Particular smells associated with certain people seem to be very common, I haven’t experienced anything myself but I keep an open mind.

I think it’s extremely unlikely we’re the only people in the universe because it’s so huge, I definitely believe there’s life out there but I doubt it’s how we imagine it, E.T for example I see as pure fantasy. 

79) What is the single best decision you have made in your life so far?

There’s 2 actually; quitting university was absolutely the right thing for me because the course I was on was wrong and now and again I still dream I’m on it and I want to quit and it’s horrible. Never again would I enrol on a degree which wasn’t right for me. The second was severing all contact from the love of my life, despite the fact I miss him and it was incredibly painful I’ve also saved myself a lot of pain in the process, I would never have coped seeing him move on from me and it’s something I can be blissfully ignorant about.
